Each month Dominic's Kitchen Store, located in Park Ridge, IL will offer a new contest and reveal the winner in their following newsletter. To subcribe to their newsletter click here. Every recipe will be tested by members of Dominic's Kitchen Store's Staff and by Dominic himself. Last month was Best Cookie Recipe. This month the recipe category is broad...BEST SUMMER SIDE DISH! While we are still hammering out the details of LettuceMartini's first official contest, we recently received an email about a contest PAMA Liqueur is sponsoring and we felt the need to share! How much fun would it be to attend the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, CO June 18 - 20th, 2010? Well, if you are the lucky winner of the Cooking with PAMA Contest you and a companion will get to enjoy this amazing event, all expenses paid! To enter, all you have to do is sumbit a recipe and picture of an appetizer, entree, or dessert that you created using PAMA Liqueur. You the public even get to determine 10 of the 20 finalists by voting for your favorite entries. Entries must be received by November 15th, so let's get cooking! March 18th is National Oatmeal Cookie Day. Instead of turning on the oven, grab your cocktail shaker and enjoy an Oatmeal Cookie Martini!

Oatmeal Cookie Martini

1 1/2 oz Bailey's Irish Cream
1 1/2 oz Butterscotch Schnapps
1/2 oz Cinnamon Schnapps
1/2 oz Jagermeister
1/2 oz Half and Half
Simple Syrup
Cinnamon and Sugar
5 Chocolate covered raisins

Rim a chilled martini glass with simple syrup. Dip into the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Next pour the liqueurs and half and half into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into the rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a skewer of chocolate covered raisins.
